Wells sponsors a Multi-Purpose Space (MPS) at Albany Area Schools’ Early Learning Center. This sponsorship not only provides financial support but also enriches the educational environment, offering young learners a hands-on, engaging area.
Wells’ experts work directly with educators to challenge and guide the next generation of prefabrication and construction leaders. By working with educational institutions across the U.S., we offer students of all ages in-depth experiences working with prefabricated building solutions, helping them learn how to bring industry concepts to life.
Wells is committed to fostering a passion for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) careers among students by actively supporting industry events such as Northern Colorado Construction Sector Partnership’s annual Construction Con, EPIC Student Event and more. Through these events, children are exposed to the exciting and dynamic world of STEM, where they can interact with professionals, participate in hands-on activities, and witness cutting-edge technologies.
In addition to support at the K-12 level, our higher education design/precast studios allow undergraduate and graduate students to hone in on innovative design practices utilizing precast. In these courses, students are invited to design for real-life scenarios.
Wells provides tours for construction materials classes, giving the students a close-up of the concrete mixing process. In addition, Wells Director of Engineering, Chase Radue, participates as an adjunct professor for the graduate-level prestress class.
With our CSU Boot Camp, students are taken through a 5-week course in partnership with PCI Mountain States to learn all about precast.
Our Midwest team serves on the Student Curriculum Advisory Committee for CM & Construction Supervision.
Wells donated a hands-on training structure, designed for assembly and disassembly each semester to teach prefabricated construction installation.
Wells hosts manufacturing facility tours for students and participates in the College of Design Studios.

Wells supports architecture and engineering classes at CU campuses with guest lectures and manufacturing tours. At CU Denver, Wells assists a PCI Studio class by judging and mentoring students on a precast design project throughout the semester.
