Wells team members gathered in Kansas City last week for the annual Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute Convention, demonstrating the company’s ongoing commitment to advancing the built community through industry leadership and collaboration.
For almost a week in February, Wells representatives participated in committee meetings across all council types, influencing policies and practices around safety, research, and sustainability. Team members currently hold leadership positions on the PCI Board of Directors and across seven PCI councils and committees. These roles include Vice Chair positions on the Business Performance Council, Sustainability Committee, Architectural Precast Concrete Committee, and Joint and Connection Design Committee, as well as Chair positions on the ASCENT Committee, Sustainability Marketing Subcommittee, Chapter Reps, and Innovation Committee.
Beyond committee work, the Wells recruiting team connected with college students at the PCI Careers Event to build the pipeline for career opportunities across the U.S. Concrete Vision, Wells’ operational software division, met with existing clients and prospective partners at the annual tradeshow to expand software solutions that help producers nationwide streamline manufacturing and project management processes.
Jane Martin, Director of Marketing at Wells and Chair of PCI’s Sustainability Marketing Subcommittee, participated on the Women in Precast panel at the annual Women in Precast lunch, joining industry leaders in celebrating the growth of diversity in the field.
Wells fielded two teams in the producer-led Project Precast Competition. The Southeast team, led by Russ Vines, Rob Pavel, Jason Savis, Abhi Mummaneni, and Matt Quigg, won 2 of the 4 Project Precast awards, demonstrating the problem-solving expertise that defines the company’s approach.
The week also celebrated design excellence, with 13 Wells projects recognized for the 2026 PCI Design Awards. The awards honor innovation, sustainability, and design excellence in construction.
Twenty-seven Wells team members attended the convention, representing regions across the company’s nationwide network.
