Wells marked Earth Day 2026 with coordinated cleanup efforts across its facilities, using the day as a focused opportunity to support the broader approach to environmental stewardship. These efforts reflect ongoing priorities around maintaining safe, well-managed sites and reducing environmental impact where possible.

This year, teams across multiple locations organized and executed site-specific cleanup efforts. While the scope of each effort varied, the objective was consistent: improve the immediate environment around each facility through practical, hands-on work.

Teams across all our manufacturing facilities organized and executed hands-on cleanup efforts that included collecting trash, clearing brush and debris, and addressing buildup in underbrush, landscaped areas, ditches, parking lots, and drainage zones. Team members participated through coordinated group efforts, rotating schedules, and volunteer-led initiatives, some spanning multiple days or adapted to challenging conditions, all with a shared focus on improving site conditions and exploring opportunities for ongoing cleanup efforts.

Mike Ryan, VP of Operations in Hillsboro, TX, shared, “Throughout the clean-up, we realized just how much waste we accumulate in the facility that goes unnoticed. As a result, we are going to focus on building our ‘clean as you go’ mindset to encourage team members to apply this practice every day so it doesn’t have to wait until the next cleanup.”

These efforts reflect a consistent, company-wide focus on maintaining operational environments and minimizing impact through routine, incremental actions. As one team member summarized, the approach is straightforward: “Saving the Earth, one bag at a time.”
