Part of the Hop City Craft Beer & Wine group, Boxcar sits within the historic Lee + White development along the Atlanta Beltline. Designed by Kronberg Urbanists + Architects in collaboration with Square Feet Studios, the space embraces the industrial character of its adaptive reuse warehouse setting while drawing inspiration from the surrounding urban art scene.

At the heart of the interior, Wells crafted a DEX high-performance concrete bar top in DEXTerity Medium Gray, a versatile finish that pairs durability with modern design. Polished and sealed for maximum performance, the bar top withstands the heavy use of a bustling restaurant and bar environment while requiring minimal maintenance. Its refined neutrality allows the vibrant context — murals, steel, and reclaimed textures—to take center stage, while ensuring the bar remains a durable, functional focal point for guests.
