Design That Tells a Story
As part of the renovation and expansion of the original Chick-fil-A Dwarf House, the birthplace of the iconic chicken sandwich, Wells created a series of custom outdoor furnishings in DEX high performance concrete. The newly designed flagship, located in Hapeville, GA, blends legacy and innovation across its interiors and outdoor spaces.
Wells crafted multiple pieces of exterior furniture for the project, including a 22-foot-long communal table cast as a single 4,000-pound unit with integral legs and a modesty panel that also serves as a structural support beam, along with cantilevered tables and matching benches designed for exterior guest dining. The scope also included furnishings for the employee dining area, featuring inspirational quotes inlaid directly into the tabletop surfaces.
