At Passion City Church in Atlanta, Wells custom-fabricated a dramatic, multi-flight floating staircase that serves as a centerpiece of the space — merging structural innovation with sleek, modern design. The stair features numerous precision-cast treads and oversized landings, all produced in high-performance concrete using DEX in DEXterity’s Natural Lite finish for a clean, contemporary look.

The minimalist concrete elements float atop a custom steel framework, with clean lines and concealed support that enhance the illusion of weightlessness. Paired with integrated lighting and industrial detailing, the stair’s composition perfectly complements the bold mural backdrop and exposed architectural finishes throughout the space.

In addition to the staircase, Wells also fabricated blackslide integral sinks with DEX for the facility, extending the same refined concrete craftsmanship into other key interior elements.
