Historic Inspiration, Modern Precision, Timeless Craftsmanship
St. George Catholic Church serves a parish and school with more than 100 years of history. The new sanctuary seats 1,200 parishioners, with an additional 120 in the chapel, establishing a lasting landmark for the faith community. Its simple, elegant form integrates historic Christian motifs, including the Gothic arch, into a cohesive architectural expression.
Efficient and creative use of architectural precast concrete was central to achieving the design vision. A proprietary finishing technique replicated the look of aged limestone block, with intentional color variation and form liners creating the appearance of hand-laid brick. Select masonry units shipped from overseas were embedded into panels to evoke historic fired brick, while traditional Gothic archways were scaled up to create a strong transitional language.
