Jacksonville, Fla., (03/24/2026) – Wells, a leader in prefabricated building solutions across the United States, announces the addition of Jason Richter as Director of Architectural and Structural Systems. In this role, Richter works closely with architects, contractors, and internal teams to advance opportunities across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. His focus will include early engagement, scope development, bid coordination, and collaboration that helps move projects from concept through execution.
Richter brings more than 20 years of experience in architectural design, specification, and building systems strategy and has built a career spanning both architectural practice and architectural product leadership. He has partnered closely with design teams and contractors to align design intent with constructability and long-term performance. Richter holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Cincinnati and completed Diploma 1 studies in Architecture at the University of Portsmouth in England. He is an Associate AIA and a member of CSI.
“I’m excited to join the Wells team, said Richter. “They have a strong reputation within the construction industry as a trusted partner to general contractors. As a former architect, I understand the importance of collaboration when working with designers to deliver systems that meet both functional requirements and design intent.”
In his new role, Richter is expected to play a key part in strengthening Wells’ early engagement approach, supporting clients and design teams in defining scope sooner and reducing risk as projects move forward. His experience helps reinforce Wells’ commitment to achieving a vision through efficient, well-coordinated prefabricated building systems that serve the built community.
“Jason’s depth of architectural experience, combined with his ability to bridge design intent and constructability, makes him a strong fit for this role,” said Brian Griffis, vice president of sales at Wells. “We are confident his leadership will deliver meaningful value for our clients and our teams.”
As Wells continues to expand its capabilities in architectural and structural systems, Richter’s leadership supports the company’s broader goals of elevating expectations and strengthening regional relationships across the U.S.
