In Aesop’s Miami Design District flagship, Wells created high-performance concrete countertops and a custom-integrated sink using DEX — embodying the brand’s minimalist, tactile aesthetic. Clean, geometric forms and refined finishes nod to the neighborhood’s Art Deco legacy while embracing modern restraint.

At the heart of the space is a custom testing sink, designed for constant use in product sampling. Still in operation today, it highlights the durability and stain resistance of sealed high-performance concrete. The design pairs pale, monochromatic tones with contrasting surface treatments: the countertop and sink in DEXterity Snow, silky and polished to the touch, set against the display base in DEXterity Cast with Voids, which introduces raw, textural depth.

This balance of smooth refinement and elemental texture illustrates the versatility of DEX’s concrete in retail settings — where beauty, function, and resilience must work seamlessly together.
