Reliable Long-Term Performance

Completed in 1971, the Chester Fritz Auditorium boasts a captivating history intertwined with the innovative use of prefabricated building solutions. Serving as Wells' pioneering venture into prefabricated construction at the Grand Forks location, this project marked a significant milestone in our company’s history and regional presence.

The decision to utilize integrated prefabricated structural solutions in new ways, particularly for the exterior wall system, reflected Wells' determination to challenge convention and move the industry forward. The forms used in the production process were shipped from our flagship facility in Wells, MN. Recognizing the long-term potential of these solutions in the region, the team retained and repurposed them, establishing an early foothold for prefabricated building systems in North Dakota.
