Advanced Infrastructure
Denver Water’s Northwater Treatment Plant is a transformative addition to the region’s water infrastructure, strategically located just north of Golden, CO. The facility meets Denver’s growing demand for clean water by processing up to 75 million gallons daily, with room for future expansion. The campus includes eight distinct spaces, ranging from administrative areas to specialized facilities for sediment tanks and chemical processing, all designed to adapt as the city’s needs evolve.
Wells partnered closely with the project team to bring these spaces to life, providing prefabricated solutions that ensured durability, efficiency, and precision. Our expertise in designing and coordinating complex components allowed the spaces to blend seamlessly into the surrounding landscape, maintaining both functionality and visual cohesion.
Working on a site with extensive piping, sediment tanks, and ongoing earthwork required meticulous planning and sequencing. Wells’ team coordinated each step to ensure the prefabricated elements were installed efficiently, minimizing disruption and keeping the project on schedule.
The Northwater Treatment Plant represents more than just infrastructure — it’s a resilient, adaptable space that delivers cleaner water to the community while setting a new standard for thoughtful, sustainable design. Wells’ collaboration, innovation, and problem-solving were key to turning this ambitious vision into a reality that will serve Denver for decades to come.
