At the entrance of Minneapolis’ Mill Ruins Park, the Water Works Park Pavilion overlooks a treasured historic site. To enhance the visitor experience while honoring the park’s legacy, the Minneapolis Park Foundation partnered with Wells to reimagine the space — keeping its history intact while elevating its presence.

Bringing the archway and surrounding facade to life required a hands-on approach. Wells examined the historic building up close, verifying materials and carefully selecting a solution that seamlessly integrates with the original building. Every element was curated to respect the past while embracing precision craftsmanship.
