Award-Winning Design
Wells partnered with the project team to deliver the architectural facade for 250 High, a 12-story, 315,000 sq ft mixed-use development that reshaped downtown Columbus’ skyline. Designed to achieve LEED certification, the building integrates 135,000 sq ft of commercial office space, 162,000 sq ft of residential units, and 18,000 sq ft of ground-level retail and dining.
Wells supported the design team in translating the architectural vision into a durable, high-performing envelope that balances aesthetic refinement with energy efficiency and long-term performance. Our early collaboration ensured precise panelization, streamlined fabrication, and seamless integration with the building’s structure, helping the project meet ambitious sustainability and constructability goals.
Public and private amenities reinforce the building’s connection to its urban context. A 2,800 sq ft plaza links the development to the surrounding streetscape, while upper-level fitness, community spaces, and a rooftop terrace provide residents with a modern, connected lifestyle. Through collaborative delivery and technical expertise, Wells helped create a mixed-use project that strengthens Columbus’ live-work environment while standing as a lasting architectural presence.
