The 71,000 sq ft LEED Silver Rubenstein Arts Center at Duke University, known as The Ruby, serves as a hub for artistic creativity, offering flexible collaborative spaces for students, faculty, and visitors. Designed to complement the surrounding campus precinct, the steel-framed space is wrapped in a polished prefabricated concrete facade and glass, reflecting Duke’s established color, texture, and material palette. Buff-toned panels are accented by a continuous black polished band with a subtle inset, creating a cohesive and visually striking exterior.
