Advancing School Design with Purpose

Silver Ranch Elementary in Bismarck, ND, is a 70,000 sq ft education system developed in response to continued enrollment growth across the Bismarck Public School District. As part of a broader expansion effort, including the concurrent Elk Ridge Elementary project, the district added new capacity to support a rapidly growing student population and strengthen long-term community development.

The building envelope was delivered as an integrated prefabricated wall system, supporting both speed of enclosure and design continuity across district facilities. The exterior system combines varied textures and finishes to achieve architectural depth, including a base expression that grounds the building and a vertically articulated upper system enhanced with realistic wood aesthetics achieved through integrated formwork and field-applied staining.
