Precision Prefabrication in Action

Truist Park opened in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2017, marking a new era for the Atlanta Braves. More than a stadium, it anchors a 60-acre mixed-use development designed to support year-round activity, including offices, residences, dining, and entertainment. Fifteen acres are dedicated to the ballpark itself, while the surrounding area creates a vibrant live, work, and play environment.

From the earliest planning stages, architectural and structural precast concrete were integral to achieving the project’s vision and aggressive schedule. The Braves’ seating platform and exterior cladding were designed as prefabricated systems, allowing construction to begin in February 2015 with Wells providing design-assist support. This approach aligned engineering, detailing, and manufacturing with the overall construction sequence.
