Seamless Campus Parking

Wells partnered with the design and construction team to deliver the North Parking Structure at the University of Mississippi, an eight-level, 1,532-space facility developed to replace parking displaced by campus growth while achieving a net gain of approximately 300 spaces. Serving the north side of campus, the permit-only garage supports the University’s one-to-one parking ratio and was delivered within strict academic calendar constraints.

Located within Ole Miss’ historic Georgian-style campus, the structure was carefully integrated into a steeply sloped site. The lowest two levels step into the hillside, reducing perceived height and visual mass while maximizing daylight and natural ventilation across all parking levels. Vehicular access at three distinct elevations improves circulation, operational flexibility and overall user convenience.
