Center Stage for Student Life and Learning

The John A. Delaney Student Union stands as the centerpiece of the University of North Florida campus, serving as a vibrant hub for student life, activities, and campus engagement. The 150,000 sq ft facility is divided into two buildings — East and West — connected by a pedestrian-friendly outdoor plaza.

Designed to be both functional and iconic, the Student Union features a prefabricated architectural facade with intricate brick inlay. This solution provided design consistency, long-term durability, and expedited installation while achieving the architect’s vision of a modern campus landmark. This exterior enclosure frames a dynamic interior that houses dining facilities, a bookstore, retail space, lounges, student services, administrative offices, and a grand ballroom for events.
