Resilient Headquarters Solution

Following Hurricane Katrina, Louisiana Offshore Oil Port relocated its office complex to a more resilient inland site, prioritizing long-term performance and operational continuity. Completed in 2005, the two-story office space and adjacent parking were elevated well above sea level to address flood risk, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to preparedness in a challenging coastal environment.

Wells’ contributions supported speed, durability, and schedule certainty under difficult conditions. Despite extended periods of rain and regional power disruptions, the prefabricated solutions was delivered in just over 12 months, maintaining momentum when traditional approaches would have introduced significant delays. Through a systems-based approach, Wells helped the team stay on track while meeting budget and performance goals.
