It was essential that The Stack, a Class AA office building in downtown Dallas, acknowledge the brick-and-mortar character of Deep Ellum while confidently introducing a new workplace model for the future.

Wells provided the flexibility needed to achieve that balance, with solutions to support the aesthetic vision of the lower volume’s brick facade while also meeting constructability and budget goals. Embedded thin brick at the base allows the building to blend seamlessly with the surrounding neighborhood, while the upper volume introduces a contemporary expression that prioritizes outdoor amenity spaces and connection to the city.
