A Dynamic Facade That Balances Light and Form

Truist Plaza at Church Street Station is a 28-story mixed-use high-rise that transforms a tight downtown Orlando site into a bold vertical composition of prefabricated concrete elements and glass. Designed by HuntonBrady Architects, the tower integrates office, hotel, retail spaces and parking within two distinct façades, one transparent and reflective, the other textured and solid.

Working closely with Austin Commercial, Wells partnered with the design team to develop an efficient prefabricated building system that balanced aesthetic goals with performance and cost. By reducing the window-to-wall ratio, the system improved thermal efficiency and long-term energy savings while achieving a refined architectural rhythm. Installed under challenging nighttime conditions near active rail lines, the prefabricated components deliver a durable, elegant, and high-performing exterior that defines a new standard for mixed-use urban design.
