Designing Healthcare with Resilience and Purpose

The Texas Health Frisco campus was envisioned as a long-term healthcare destination — one that unites architectural identity, operational efficiency and environmental responsibility across a growing community. Wells partnered with the design team through a collaborative design-assist process to develop an integrated, insulated facade system that reflects regional character while supporting the demands of a 24/7 healthcare environment.

Drawing inspiration from the tonal variation of local Granbury chopped stone, the facade introduces depth and texture through a refined GateStone finish. Subtle shifts in color and surface articulation create visual rhythm across the hospital and medical office space, establishing a cohesive campus language rooted in its North Texas context. By leveraging prefabrication and integrated insulation, the team aligned constructability with long-term thermal performance from the outset.
