Built to Serve for Generations

Baptist Medical Center Clay in Fleming Island, FL represents a significant investment in healthcare access for a rapidly growing region, bringing a full-service, six-story hospital to the Clay County community. Designed to support advanced medical services and long-term campus growth, the facility strengthens Baptist Health’s presence in Northeast Florida while delivering a welcoming, durable environment for residents, caregivers and visitors.

We supported the project through a design-assist approach, collaborating closely with the architect, construction team and client early in the process to develop the prefabricated precast concrete elements that define the exterior facade. This early engagement allowed our team to apply regional insight, technical expertise and constructability knowledge to help align architectural intent with fabrication and installation realities, elevating expectations across disciplines.

The exterior facade is defined by a sandblast buff precast concrete finish that presents as a light, near-white tone depending on lighting conditions. This refined appearance reinforces the hospital’s clean, modern identity while delivering the durability, resilience and long-term performance required of a critical healthcare facility. The material expression supports both aesthetic goals and operational needs, contributing to a building envelope designed to stand the test of time.

Through collaboration, a network of knowledge and a shared commitment to achieving the client’s vision, this project reflects how we help transform complex ideas into enduring built solutions. Baptist Medical Center Clay stands as an example of how thoughtful design-assist delivery and prefabricated building systems can support community-focused facilities that serve generations to come.
