Roughly one-quarter of the way up, the towers are separated by one of the world’s largest open-air breezeways — a dramatic vertical void spanning more than 30 stories that introduces light, movement and connection between the two forms. Suspended above, a 75-ft illuminated oculus creates a symbolic link between the towers and serves as a defining visual landmark across the city.
Wells partnered with the design team to deliver a prefabricated building system that reinforces both performance and architectural intent at the base of the development. The parking space facade is articulated with a rhythmic pattern of circular perforations that provide natural ventilation while establishing a strong visual identity. Painted metal grating within each opening introduces depth and contrast against the crisp white exterior, elevating the experience of what is often considered purely functional space.
Because the garage forms the visual and structural base for the towers above, it was envisioned as an essential part of the overall composition. Through coordinated engineering and off-site construction, Wells helped transform foundational infrastructure into an integral architectural element — strengthening the project’s urban presence while supporting long-term durability in a coastal environment.
